Changelog

What is new in Composer, the AI store builder. Product updates for people who sell, newest first.

Clicking Live editor (or pressing ⌘⇧E) now shows the store canvas to click and edit, instead of staying on the chat transcript after you had already opened that store.

  • Home → Live editor after Chat now switches the cached workspace to the canvas.
  • The storefront fills the preview well instead of leaving a blank stage.

Manage who can open a store from Team: invite by email as admin, editor, or viewer, change someone's role, resend an invite, transfer ownership, or leave.

  • The owner handles payouts and billing, and can hand the store to a teammate. Admins can invite and manage the team. Editors build and publish. Viewers can look, not edit.
  • People already on a store stay editors — the same full store access they had as collaborators.
  • Copy the store link when you want to share access without waiting on email.

Pricing is now Free, Pro, Business, and Enterprise. Pro and Business start higher, you choose a monthly credit pack, and yearly billing gives two months free. Every plan still takes a small fee on sales; the fee shrinks as you go up.

  • Free includes 25 credits a month and one store.
  • Pro starts at 29 US dollars a month. Business starts at 59.
  • The public pricing page and the billing plans page now share the same comparison grid.

A live domain does not create email by itself. Manage → Email now explains forwarding (hello@ lands in Gmail, not a new mailbox), shows what to do next, and only asks for DNS when you actually need to paste records.

  • From Domain, a next step opens Email once HTTPS is live.
  • Composer-hosted domains get mail DNS written for you; connected domains show copyable MX and SPF.

What is new in Composer now lives at composer.so/changelog. Open it from What's new in the builder, or share the page with anyone.

New chat is now ⌘⇧O (Ctrl+Shift+O on Windows and Linux). Command+Option+N was opening a browser window and clashing with some keyboards.

Settings now shows your plan, remaining AI credits, and billing in a single Plan & Usage page, so you can see what you're on and what you've used without switching tabs.

The actions you hit all day on the dashboard now have chords — new chat, send, and Stores — and the shortcut appears on the button only when you hover, so the rest of the workspace stays quiet.

  • New chat is ⌘⌥N (Ctrl+Alt+N on Windows) so it does not collide with the browser's New Window. Send from Home is ⌘Enter. Stores is ⌘S.
  • In the editor, Enter still sends a chat turn and Esc stops the agent. Hover the matching button to see the chord, or open Settings → Advanced for the full list.

The Code tab now shows folders and files in a real tree beside a readable source view, with line numbers, language badges, and one click copy, so peeking at what the agent wrote feels calm instead of like a flat dump of paths.

Ask to make the top logo white and the bottom logo dark (or any colors) and the agent updates only the surface you named, so both logos no longer flip together.

  • Say "header logo" / "top logo" or "footer logo" / "bottom logo" when you want one surface changed.
  • The brand mark stays shared; only the color variant for that spot updates.

Ask the agent to make your logo white for a dark header (or any solid color) and it recolors the file for you, cutting out the background and placing a transparent PNG, without asking you to upload a new version.

  • Recolor keeps soft edges and transparency; no plate behind the mark.
  • Already transparent logos recolor instantly; cutting a solid background uses the same image credits as Remove background.

Drop in your logo and the builder handles the rest: it clears the background automatically, sizes it generously, and sets it in the corner of your header. No more asking twice to make it bigger.

  • Attach a logo and the builder removes any solid background for you, so it sits cleanly on your header instead of on a white or colored block. You don't have to ask.
  • Logos are placed and sized properly the first time: front of the nav, big enough to read, linking home.
  • No logo yet? The builder now gives your store a real brand mark in the header corner instead of leaving it plain.

Starting from a URL? Add more than one: attach a few reference sites and the builder blends them into a single store, so you can mix one site's content with another's look.

No single headline this week, just a handful of things that make building and sharing a store a little nicer.

  • Give your store a logo: the builder can now place a real logo in the header, and offers to add one when your header doesn't have it yet.
  • Clone a site more faithfully: cloning from a URL now carries the real copy and pictures across, so you're editing your content instead of retyping it.
  • Share a build link: send anyone a link that shows your store coming together, instead of a bare signup page.
  • Start from a single line: "Enhance" turns a short build description into a fuller brief before building, so a quick prompt still gives you a rich store.
  • Cookie consent that fits your visitors: published stores show a proper consent banner and preference centre, shown only where it's expected.

Turn on the model picker in Settings to switch models right from the prompt bar and compare results. Your default stays put until you pick something else.

A published store now shows up in each visitor's language and switches to a right to left layout where it's expected, automatically, with nothing for you to configure.

Point a custom domain at a published store from its Settings, so customers see your brand instead of a composer.so subdomain.

The builder now reviews the store it just made and refines it before you see it, and reaches for the moves a real studio would, so a first result already reads more finished.

  • The agent looks at the rendered store and fixes what's off, over a couple of automatic passes.
  • Bolder layouts: oversized type, full bleed imagery, and a cohesive palette across each store.
  • Subtle, tasteful motion as sections come into view, no setting to toggle.
