Chat with the agent

Change your store by describing what you want in plain language.

The agent sits beside the live preview. You ask for a change; the preview updates as the agent works.

What to ask

Be specific about the outcome:

  • “Make the headline shorter and warmer.”
  • “Add a navy and cream color feel.”
  • “Put shipping info on the product page.”
  • “Create a simple About page with our story.”

You can also attach photos when you want them used as products, heroes, or brand images.

How edits apply

Changes land in a draft. The preview shows the draft immediately. Nothing is live for shoppers until you publish.

When to edit yourself instead

Some fixes are faster without chat:

  • Double click a simple line of text in the preview to edit it in place.
  • Use Edit image to crop or replace a photo.

If a text block is too complex for a direct edit, Composer opens the agent with a prefilled prompt so you stay in flow. See Edit text and images.

Tips

  • One clear request per message usually works better than a long list.
  • Point at what you mean (“the hero button”, “the second product card”).
  • Ask to undo or try another direction if a change misses.
